Jade Vanags
Jade was first introduced to yoga asana through her contemporary dance teacher at age twelve and has practiced yoga for over a decade. While her love for movement initially drew her to yoga, the groundedness she felt kept her coming back to the mat. After losing a parent, yoga became a sanctuary for Jade to move through her grief, and she wanted to learn how to hold space for others to do the same. In 2023, Jade completed her 200-hour training at Tuladhara Yoga Studio in Tacoma, Washington. Following a year of growing and learning as a teacher, in 2024, Jade sought to deepen her yoga practice by attending Bali Yoga School’s immersive 300-hour training in Indonesia.
Jade is passionate about making yoga teachings accessible to all bodies by including props, modifications, and guided assistance. Her classes cultivate deeper somatic awareness and joy of movement and breath. She is so excited to join The Cycling Yogi family
