So, here’s how this whole thing started…
I was in a meeting with my business coach, Josh (bless him), who was once again telling me I need to “post more on social.” And if you know me, you know that posting on social is… painful. Dentist-appointment painful.
He asked me what I’m an expert in.
And I thought: sarcasm, overthinking, making to-do lists for things I’ll avoid anyway, and spiraling during yoga class.
So… here we are.
Welcome to Savasana Sh*tstorm.
Or as I like to call it: Mindful Movement, Mindless Thoughts.
What Is It?
This is a social media series dedicated to me keeping it real—sharing the random thoughts that fly through my head in yoga when I’m supposed to be focusing. Spoiler: it’s not always enlightening. Sometimes it’s “What am I eating after this?” or “Why did I wear this bra today?”
I’m not your typical self-help guru. Far from it. But I am someone who overthinks everything—on and off the mat. And I figured… maybe I should start sharing those thoughts, because I know I’m not the only one whose brain won’t shut off in Savasana.
Some posts might feel relatable. Some might just be weird. Either way, they’re honest.
Why I’m Sharing This
Because yoga (and fitness in general) isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing up as you are—even if your head is noisy, your body is tired, or your to-do list is looming.
Savasana Sh*tstorm is me pulling back the curtain and saying: yeah, me too.
I’ll be posting short video snippets every week this September on our Instagram. One thought, one rant, one tiny storm at a time.

If you’ve ever felt like your mind won’t slow down in class…you’re not alone. This series is a reminder that yoga (and life) can be messy, funny, and imperfect… and that’s kind of the point.
So grab your mat, maybe your sense of humor, and come along for the ride.
💛 Susie
