Your Questions Answered
Frequently asked questions and studio policies. Reach out to us if you have a question that does not appear below.
Do you have an introductory special?
We don’t offer a traditional new student special, but our Weekly Unlimited Membership is the best way to get started! For just $35 per week, you’ll enjoy unlimited access to all of our in-studio classes and our full Video On Demand (VOD) library — so you can practice anytime, anywhere. This membership automatically renews each week with no long-term commitment, and you can cancel anytime before your next autopay. (Please note: pauses are not available.)
Is the first Class Free?
We don’t offer a free first class, but our Weekly Unlimited Membership is the best way to get started! For $35/week, you get unlimited access to all in-studio classes and our Video On Demand library — allowing you to try as many classes, instructors, and formats as you’d like. Since a single drop-in class is $32, most new clients find the weekly unlimited option gives them the best value and flexibility right from the start. You can cancel anytime before your next autopay.
Do I have to make a reservation for class?
It's best to reserve your spot in class prior to attending. This way, you commit this time in your own schedule (sometimes the hardest part!). Our classes are limited in capacity and if you reserve prior, you know you have a spot. Some find the reservation helps hold them accountable to their exercise program.
Please only reserve classes you know you will be able to attend.
You can make and cancel reservations directly from our online schedule.
How often should I come to class?
Your yoga practice is just that - a practice. The more you are able to come to class, the greater it will serve y thou. Two times or more a week seems to be the tipping point that will make all the difference in your practice and in your life. As a "new" client to the studio, we recommend coming at least 6 times during your trial month to really get the most out of your month and experience all the studio has to offer.
What do I need to bring to be prepared for class?
It's pretty easy. If you have a yoga mat, bring that. If not, we have mats you can use. Bring a water bottle if you'd like. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. We have props and towels available for you to borrow, or feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
For Cycle & fitness classes – you can wear your regular running/tennis shoes or biking shoes with SPD clips.
If it's your first class, arrive about 10 minutes early to get all set up. We can help you get set up on the bike or yoga room before class.
What happens if I'm not flexible?
This is the most common misconception that prevents people from coming to yoga class. Yoga is not about how flexible you are already, but about strengthening your body and spine in all directions and, gradually, improving flexibility. Through consistent yoga practice, your flexibility will improve, but it is not necessary to be flexible before coming to class.
What pricing option or class works best for me?
We have flexible options to fit your goals—whether you plan to take a few classes or come every day. Most new clients start with our Weekly Unlimited Membership at $35/week. It gives you unlimited access to all in-studio classes and our Video On Demand library, so you can explore a variety of classes, instructors, and schedules while finding your perfect routine. With no long-term commitment and the ability to cancel anytime before your next autopay, it’s a great way to fully experience everything we offer!
If a monthly membership doesn’t work into your schedule right now, we also offer an 8 pack of classes.
See our Pricing page for more Membership and class pack options
How Does the Waitlist work?
If a class is full, please add yourself to the waitlist. Once another client cancels their reservation, the first person on the waitlist is added to the class and will receive an email or text notification up to 2 hours prior to the start of class. If you are on the waitlist, plan on coming to class and cancel the waitlist reservation if you make other plans. The system will add you to the class at all hours of the day/night as cancellations occur.
Once added to the class from the waitlist, you’ll receive an email and text notification (please make sure your notifications are turned on).
What if I register for a class and then cannot attend?
If you need to change or cancel your reservation, you need to do so AT LEAST 2 HOURS BEFORE the start of class. If you cancel less than 2 hours before the start of class, or if you are a no show for class, there will be a strict late-cancel/no show fee of $25 (or if you are on a class pack, you’ll forgo the class with which you used to register for class).
Thank you for your cooperation. With limited class sizes we want to make sure as many people as possible get to take class.
Can I leave early or arrive late?
Please try not to leave class early. If you must, tell the instructor in advance and leave as quietly as possible.
CLASSES START ON TIME. If you arrive after the start of class, you will be locked out. This is out of respect for the other students in the class as well as the instructor.
Instructors are asked to lock the doors at class time and start on time.
Do you have gift cards available?
Of course! Yes! Simply go to our pricing page to Buy Gift Cards.
You can purchase a gift card in any amount.
Where is the studio location? Are you hard to find?

We are located at 12790 W. Alameda Pkwy Unit G (lower level, East side of the building, under SCL Health sign)

Do you cancel classes in severe weather or other reasons?
We may cancel class(s) if the weather is severe and travel is not safe. Check our schedule for current cancellations. Please do cancel your reservation if you know you will not be coming. This helps us in making the decision to keep or cancel a class. Reservations can easily be canceled from our app, The Cycling Yogi, available on the Apple and Google store.
Classes with 1 attendee registered in the class may be cancelled 1 hour before class time. (another good reason to sign up ahead of time for classes you want to attend!).
How can I cancel my monthly autopay?
You can cancel your membership anytime directly through your Walla client account. Log in to your account, click your account icon, select “My Plans & Credits,” and click “Submit Cancellation” at the bottom of your current plan.
